About Clapham Holme Farm

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of attending Kirsty and Craig’s Clapham Holme Farm wedding at this amazing venue. This rustic and welcoming wedding venue in Great Hatfield near Hornsea opened their doors in March 2018 and offer full wedding services, from civil ceremonies to receptions.

The Granary Barn can accommodate up to 200 guests and comes with everything you need for a memorable day: tables, chairs, dance floor, bar, and a cozy snug area. You and your guests will love the farm setting and the scenic views of the lake and gardens, where you can take stunning photos.

You can also extend your stay and enjoy their four 4 star holiday cottages, which can sleep up to 18 people. If you need more space, there is a caravan site and a tent field available. You can make the most of your weekend with BBQs, games, and relaxing by the lake.

Recently the venue has completed a high-quality conversion of the Hayloft Barn, which now serves as the venue’s honeymoon suite.

Kirsty & Craig benefitted from all of this, including the honeymoon suite, cottages, glamping and the camping field for overnight guests.

Kirsty & Craig’s Clapham Holme Farm Wedding

Kirsty & Craig married in the ‘Atrium’ building; a bright and airy space adorned with hanging fabric and paper lanterns. Kirsty was walked down the aisle by her son Joseph; a touching moment. It was clear throughout the wedding day that family means the world to this couple. Not only did their wedding day unite them as bride and groom, but united their close and extended family.

After the ceremony, the guests took celebratory drinks in the grassy courtyard and enjoyed time in the ‘Tin Bar’ (made from tin, not serving them!) whilst the main area; the Granary Barn went through final preparations. The Granary Barn itself is a spacious and rustic building and includes a permanent bar, stage and dancefloor area, which was greatly enjoyed by the guests later in the evening.

As a wedding photographer, I love working at Clapham Holme Farm – the scenery is beautiful and the grounds contain many interesting aspects, offering many creative and romantic photo opportunities.

Kirsty & Craig’s Clapham Holme Farm wedding was a joy to photograph. They were a charming couple who shared their happiness and warmth with everyone. Their wedding matched their style: classy, romantic and fun. I hope they have a wonderful future together.

The evening was full of fun and entertainment. Kirsty & Craig danced for the first time as a married couple and looked blissful and in love as they moved to the music. Their family and friends joined them on the dancefloor while the DJ played a mix of classic hits and modern tunes that made everyone groove and smile.
