Fran & Ben at St Mary’s Church, Beverley

Fran and Ben’s wedding day was a touching celebration of relationships both old and new, which took place at St Mary’s Church in Beverley and later a gorgeous DIY home reception. The challenging weather could do nothing to dampen the sunny disposition of the bride and groom, whose persistent and beaming smiles tell you everything you need to know about their day.

Their photography begun at “Ourhouse” on Walkergate in Beverley town centre. After taking some photos of the bride and her party preparing, we made a dash through the rain to St. Mary’s Church.

St. Mary’s had a particularly meaningful connection to Ben, as he sung there in the choir as a child. The bride and groom’s love of music was a recurring theme throughout the day and fittingly the current choir sang as part of the service.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests made their way to the groom’s family home in Sutton Village, where they enjoyed yard games, drinks, and dancing in spacious and well-appointed surroundings.
