About Kept Photography

If you are looking for a wedding photographer who can tell your story in a natural and candid way, you have come to the right place. I am a professional wedding photographer based in Hull, East Yorkshire, and I love to capture the real emotions and moments of your special day.

I don’t pose or direct you (save the occasional “walk towards the camera”, “give them a kiss!”), I just document your wedding as it unfolds, from the preparations to the party. I will create a beautiful collection of images that reflect your personality and style.

I have a variety of packages ranging from mini-weddings to full day packages. Every booking includes your high resolution images provided on a USB drive or digital download. You may also choose to add prints or an album, but this is entirely up to you – there’s no hard sell here.

About Tom Sutherland

I am a five star rated wedding photographer based in East Yorkshire,

I started my photographic journey at the age of 19 when I got my first job out of college. I built a successful career as a graphic designer and artworker. This taught me lots about composition, the flow of an image, and professional editing techniques.

I picked up my first camera around 20 years ago and started shooting bits and bobs. Eventually I settled on landscape photography, for which I eventually won a couple of awards and sold my prints at local craft fairs. I still do this as a hobby – give me a follow on my personal page @tom.suth on Instagram if you’re interested.

So, about Kept Photography: I became involved with weddings a few years afterwards when I was asked by a good friend to shoot theirs for them. I absolutely loved the experience. I decided there and then that I wanted to do more of this.

I’ve been a professional photographer now since 2016 and love the feeling it gives me. My favourite parts are seeing how happy and emotional my clients are when I deliver their albums and galleries, and hearing all of the lovely heartfelt thing people say about each other during wedding speeches.
