Not everybody likes to be the centre of attention
It can feel really awkward having your photo taken by a professional, and that’s perfectly normal. For this reason, Kept Photography specialise in documentary-style wedding photography for people who might feel a little shy having their picture taken. My aim on your wedding day is to deliver beautiful photos whilst providing a low stress, supportive atmosphere in which you can feel at ease.
Benefits of choosing Kept Photography
I value your time
You only get to live this day once. Let’s be honest; who do you want to spend your time with? Me or your guests?
Whilst my primary aim is to capture amazing photos, a close second is making sure that you spend your time with the people that make it special.
Photographs with meaning
I want to know your story. You have been on a long journey together long before we will ever speak to each other.
By learning about how you got here, I’ll understand the value you place on specific parts of your day and your connection with your guests. This allows me to take more meaningful photographs.
No hidden charges.
Your photos are yours to keep. Every image you receive has been individually edited to help it to tell the story of your wedding day.
All packages include downloads of your photos in high resolution from a personalised online gallery.
Standard packages start at £600 but bespoke coverage can be arranged too.

Nice to meet you;
I’m Tom and I’d love to be your wedding photographer…
My name is Tom Sutherland. I am a five star rated wedding photographer based in East Yorkshire, I live a stone’s throw from Beverley and Hull.
There’s a lot more to picking the right photographer than finding images you like. My aim is to help you to feel at ease in front of the camera. I’m friendly and easy to talk to whilst also being professional.
I love to head out, with camera in hand, to explore with my family and dog Belle, a retired racing greyhound. I’m also a keen musician and aspiring composer.
